Wrapped and twisted

Contributed by Momen on Saturday, 23rd April 2005 @ 12:35:29 AM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

harsh words and violent blows
hidden secrets, nobody knows
eyes are open, hands are fisted
deep inside im wrapped and twisted

deepest scars, bluest eyes
blood pours, begin to cry
screaming secrets through concrete walls
the other side is being called

chains broken, clothes torn
hardest tests being reborn
hearts shattered, dreams considered
windows smashed, father revists

funny games, forced smiles
symbolized self denial
picture frames and old gold beds
swimming around inside a head

posters fall, winter ends
deaths aloud, forgotten friends
silent screams, purple hearts
wars taken men apart

bloods splattered, song replayed
bleeding children, family unpayed
flying away, hidden faces
keeping up these unknown paces

face the day, growing tough
yellow clouds, had enough?
fighting someone elses fears
just to be alone a pair

changed lives, blind dreams
compared hells, silent screams
never cry before the dawn
pools of blue being sworn

being seen sinking down
broken swords, unhappy clowns
disbeliefe and boredom
forgotten promises, where i saw him

determined fate, wooden doors
sleeping cold, unreconised floors
rough sketches, painted pictures
old soft toys needing stitches

graveside friends, longest hours
getting wet, windy howls
tall trees, falling over
fastest clouds, getting slower

stereo bleering, screaming walls
mufled sounds, frozen waterfalls
mothers screaming, babies blue
lying awake, telling the truth

bleeding tears, crying eyes
fiery vision, this haunting thrives
running water, unexplained dreams
invited stranger, fantasy themes

book covers, everythings gone
broken hearts, sharp thorns
farm shoes, schools boring
lockers closed, start unthawing

killing skin, feeling touches
faces hole, using crutches
death departs, funeral homes
flying away, king dethroned

gone away, forgotten kisses
listen closely, disturbed wishes
six feet underground
gravestone torn nothing sounds
