The "Day of the Heart"
Dressed up like a tart
Only the regulars
Can tell you apart
Give up your dance
And throw off your pants
Adding one year
To define your slants
Self justification
Built on selfish elation
Left in a solitiude
Where there is no relation
"Empathy was yesterday"
And dirty laundry ain't pay
Cash in your chips
And find shelter in play
Avoiding the time
And every owed dime
Keep layering bars
For every small crime
Welcome to jail
Your own nine inch nail
Don't bother to write
From your new found cell
