Blade in Hand

Contributed by tinkerhell on Friday, 22nd April 2005 @ 11:43:18 PM in AEST
Topic: self-harmpoetry

Tears are falling
from my wrists
palms are curling
into fists
outstretched arms
I show to you
the harm you've done
from what you do
you say no words
just blankly stare
upon your face
you show no care
and as I die, you finally say
"Yes, I was the blade,
but your hand held me...
you let me invade."
I choked back sobs
knowing it was true
as destructive as you were
my actions weren't done by you.

I'm really happy to see this masterpeice.
One can't help but read the many writes about cutting. One thing that concerns me is that they wonna blame someone else. Don't get me wrong now 'cause I'm not putting any one down 'cause I use to play name game blame. I'm no cutter but it hurts me deeply to see the pain any one goes thru.
Once a person starts looking with in themselves for answer they realize that we are responsible for own actions then change comes. It's sometimes a very slow process but in time we grow.
Keep up the work 'cause you've come up with a write that will make a person think.
Huggs,
emy
