Your Shading

Contributed by disenchanted_poet on Friday, 22nd April 2005 @ 05:28:20 PM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

I have been gone a while. Thought I was in love and after a little over a year, I finally found out I was being mis-led. How things come out when the ball is pressed against you.. I cant stand her now. She lied so damn much to me. I hope you all like this one. It is a little angry/dark/hateful...

I've seen through the shading
and down to what's within
reaching you will feel me

Lost and alone
You said i was what you were looking for
So why the hell do I feel so empty?

And it all seemed so real
Pulled from my grasp taken away
Am I now nothing in your eyes
Reaching out i feel
you were pulling away, never letting me in
I am nothing in your eyes!

Day in day out i see you live your life again
And like a fool i stood here in waiting
In letters words and pictures
you professed your love to me
And to the very last they were ALL lies!

And the malice I should deeply feel for your deceitfulness
Can never escape me
And in all the shading
Between all the lies you ever uttered to me
I hope you will be left empty!!!!!!!!!!!

If she lies to you, she isn't worth your time. My first bf was a lier, he even lied about his age to my face when we first met. She is probably cold-hearted, doesn't consider your feelings before hers. You need a girl who would do that. She probably wanted to stay distant from you, she might not change either, you want someone who will open her heart up to you. I'm sorry that happened to you. Jenny
