Let Me Go

Yesterday you asked a dreadful question,
"tell me how to let you go?" you asked,
The answer for this I will never know.
This answer you will have to seek.

How you do this will be at your own discretion,
after you do you wil be a new man unmasked,
I cannot give the answer cause I have not let you go,
you make me feel so weak.

Iknow what needs to be done,
but it is so hard to do
you were my first love, the father to my girls
but the fighting will not stop

What has been said and done cannot be undone,
So there will never be another me and you,
This I have coem to accept ,
But I will never let go, of the love we have shared

The opening two lines really set the tone of the poem, so strong and so sad. the whole of the poem is wracked with emotions which makes it so powerful. Keep it up, writing is good therapy.
