Point of Life

Contributed by InexactExactness on Tuesday, 24th December 2002 @ 06:00:00 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

May angels breathe in you
And give you hope to live
Don't talk about the point of life
There isn't any as of yet
We make it We break it
Then we mend it and tape it
To our foreheads so that we
In the mirror we'll see
That we make our own sense of life
Don't worry my dear
You need to hold on
Just 2 more years
And then it all ends
You can leave what you call home
And make your way here
Where I will be waiting
To be your point of life
Married we'll be
On the south sided seas
Where dolphin's cry outloud
Then you will see
That I'm all you need
To be your faith in it all
So conceited I am
To be telling you this
But you need to believe in something
So conceited I am
To be letting you know
That you are my point to life
And when it all comes down
The world crashing beneath our feet
I'll know that we're on top
Watching everything below
and I'm so glad to know
That I found my point in life

This is pretty good. I can see your friend means a lot to you. I dont understand why she only needs to hold on for 2 more years though. In any case good poem through it can see a little bit of the vastness of the amount of love you have for your friend. That came out awkward, but makes sense to me :)

Wow....if someone wrote something like this for me then i could clearly see what the point of life was.....this is absolutely beautiful, not sure what the waiting 2 more years has to do with it all but i dont know all the whole story of her life either....i hope she reads this and realizes your feelings for her it's a beautifully written strong messaged poem...one that will surely bring tears to her eyes....thanks for sharing this one my friend....
