My Music, My Salvation

Contributed by Onslaught on Friday, 22nd April 2005 @ 03:18:21 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

When I hear the melody
That I have created
When I hear the rhythm
That I have produced
When I hear the sound
That I have awakened
When I hear each note
That comes from my soul
That comes from my fingers
I have found my salvation

My music
My only pleasure
In this life
My music
My only purpose to exist
My music
I have no will
For anything else
My music
My only friend
My music
My salvation

The vibrations
From my soul to my ear
Give me a reason to smile
The beauty in the movements
Almost so real, I could touch
When I am alone
With the voice of my soul
Dancing to the beat
I have nothing in this world to fear

My music
My only pleasure
In this life
My music
My only purpose to exist
My music
I have no will
For anything else
My music
My only friend
My music
My salvation

beautiful write

if we can all find something that helps to lead us from our dark days and help to find a spot within our own minds in which we are comfortable with no compromise for anything than we would all know the meaning of happiness .

thanks for sharing , i trully enjoyed this

Mike,

So good to "hear" you sounding so well. WJ, was right . Glad he pointed me in the direction of your work. This is excellent.
