Life Warp

Contributed by ChaoticCriz on Friday, 22nd April 2005 @ 12:53:41 AM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

Her heart pounds with the most painful thrust at the thought of what she is about to do
She knows that regardless of the secrets, the caution - her life is about to explode
She can not stop it from happening and it is causing her such confusion and disarray
They will have the most remarkable encounter on this fateful eve and she fears this -
For it will not let go of her, it will grasp at every fibre of her being and beg to keep her
How can she turn from this love, the one she knows she will forever long for
It feels as though they have finally found a bonded sanctuary of peace and safeness
This bond will bring great sacrifice to both their lives which will have to be met
For their fire will cause destruction and regeneration - both of which involve loss
The destruction will take hostage anything that was good and mutate it to the unknown
The regeneration will take away the past to replace it with new growth, causing grief
Yet she casts the dust of her soul into this process with the hopes it will bring happiness
If they were able to be together she knows that his spirit is the one she can love forever
The one she can grow old with, die with and stay side by side with into the next venture of "life",
Or if they were only meant to share a few moments of the many in ones life; so be it.
These cherished memories will carry them to the next stage, whether or not together
She beleives things happen for a reason; so has given up fighting the experience
Knowing that the experience means she has made it through another stage and
will have either found home or found the next path to follow and if this the case
She knows she will feel empathy for the one she was willing to give her love to
For he has paid a price tempting fate , and will be given the flame fueled with destruction
She will be carrying forth the flame of regeneration alone, grieving him.
