Will I be here when everything falls from perfection? Or will you just find a way to look on away? I am so scared once all this dulls you'll walk away. I've said my peace and hope you can do the same.

Those eyes search into my soul with no direction, only following every beat of my heart, but can you stay here once diamonds fade to coal?

I've prayed for this, hoping to find that great something. Now I've got it and I'm terrified. What if I'm not good enough to be what you need? How can I keep you from walking away?

Is there anything that I can do besides trust in fate? Well, fate's never been on my side. I'm still praying for life...
