I feel like I could run away right now
Just disappear into the night
Never look back at my old life
At how I used to be
The awful things I did,
The mean things I said.
I want to take it all back, but I know I can't.
My words didn't mean anything.
I was just angry,
I want you back so bad,
but I know you hate me.
I hope in time you'll forgive me
I didn't mean to hurt you.
I know I broke your heart,
but I want to mend it back.
So when you're ready
I want you to forgive ne
Because I still love you
and I hope you feel the same.

| I can feel your emotion in this poem... I can relate, I really want my ex back but I did something bad, I'm not sure if he'll forgive me. I'll probably give this poem to him if he won't forgive me in person. Thanks for posting that wonderful poem! Jenny |
