No Prejudice In Middle-Earth

I don’t want to be here
It’s blowing my mind
I wish I was in M-E
With all race and kind
Because in M-E
There is pride in race
It doesn’t matter if you’re fat
Or if you’re rough of face
In M-E there is no reign
Of terror or of madness
All you need to know is
There’s no such thing as sadness
The Kings and Queens
Of realms and realms to be
Would be ever kind and gentle
To their people and to me
The Elves would teach me magic
The Hobbits, the importance of their land
The Men, the way to fight
And Dwarves, mining by hand
In Rohan, there’d be horses
For me to ride upon
In Gondor there’d be cities
And farms in the beyond
In Rivendell, in the Last Homely House
There’d be pretty stuff galore
There’d be food and dresses plenty
And lovely room décor
In Lorien, where elanor grows
In Caras Galadhon I’d stay
To Galadriel’s glade I’d go
And look in her mirror without delay
In the Shire, I would learn
To enjoy the things I had
Eat six meals a day with them
And it wouldn’t be so bad
In Mirkwood, with Thranduil
I’d learn to use an arrow and bow
I’d hunt around for those adder-cops
And I’d learn all there is to know
In Bree I’d meet all kinds of folks
And chat and eat with them all
Then I’d travel to the house of Tom Bombadil
And stay there until the fall
In M-E there’s no Sauron
Because he was beaten
In the battle by the black gate
And the Ring, Mount Doom had eaten
So in M-E there’s nothing
To fear but fear itself
And all I’d have to do
Is go and be myself
Yes, M-E is a wonderful place
A place I’d like to be
But then I’d rest in Valinor
Undying Lands across the sea

Running away never solved any one's problems.
This is a good write, you forgot that the elves moved away from middle earth to the undying lands so you would not meet the elves. I like your style though. Good job. |

Well, I'm none too sure Middle-Earth has anything like this rosy a future after the destruction of the Ring. As it was the rise of the power of Men, the Elves faded, and Men are easily decieved...
But good job on the spelling! Imaginative work.

I really like this.. though you are right and it probably would have been better off in fantasy. I liked this very much being so different from all the love and suicide poetry.
