THE MORNING AFTER

THE MORNING AFTER

Thoughts? Please speak softly.....
My head feels awfully achy!
Only one eye lid slides,
The other jerks in strides.

Last time I looked, the mirror was green.
Where did I leave my self-esteem?
Fly away little lady bug.....
When you move, my head goes thug,
debug, ugh!

Like two noodles my arms.....
Loose and loopy forearms.
I could swear my slippers were purple?
Growing eyes and look so cruel!

Even my smiley face stopped smiling.
Hot coffee can be tongue blitzing!
When will I ever learn my lesson?
My short-term memory has beaten.

I wish I could recall......
The whole night is blank,
did I sprawl?
Who did I ask to marry me?
"'Ickup" 'Cuse me, I feel cloudy!!!

Ten thousand Chinese soldiers
Marched through my mouth.......
It's known as "breath bitters!"
Dry as a Nebraska drought!

See ya'all in the funny papers,
A good place for all green drinkers!
Come back tomorrow.....
I'll show you how to ride
a Wyoming Bronco!

Created just for fun,
LovingCritters
ConSue

Welcome Back Connie !!!!!

God, I forgot I sent you my picture !!!! LOL
Seriously that is me before coffee in the morning on a good day. On a bad one the slippers don't match, and the lady bug is drunk on permeating fumes.

Thanks for the laugh, Dear

Welcome back to YPDC Sue. I have missed your comments and poems. This hilarious poem had me smiling. I have taken the liberty of placing the Pics on my computer. I might use it to illustrate a Goblin or something. All the best now love from bernard.
