Don't try that sweet talk
Stop saying sorry
It just won't work again
You said it was nothing
That she didn't mean a thing
Now look at yourself
And tell me that isn't what I think it is
You standing in our room
Her naked body on our bed
Our sterio playing that romance CD
That I bought for you
Wine on the table
Sitting in our glasses
Just leave me
Get out of our house
Take the ring you gave me
Take the witch you brought here
Just leave
I can't take this anymore
I knew about most of it
The dinner
The flowers
The clothes you bought
All for her
I tried to pass it
As just a friend
But this is way too much
Get out of here
Leave me to cry
Just go.

the touch of anger and sadness mixed was deffinitly fealt. This is strong, especially the line
"Take the witch you brought here"
it adds to the feelings, and somehow stands out boldly(least in my mind). very nicely done. |
