Can you excuse me a moment?
I seem to be lost,
looking for a way out,
at any cost.
Will you help me?
Can you at least try?
This pain aches day and night,
I want the hurt to die.
Can you hold on for a second,
while I go search for my soul.
I can look all I want,
but it'll never fill this black hole.
I'll vanish in front of your eyes,
because I am disappearing from being alive,
like a candle blown out,
the fire in me can't survive.

| very strong write that brings a funny feeling about it. It felt fleeting and short on time, like speaking briefly to a stranger in the city. The end was very strong, like a door slamming, not curtains closing. Keep it up, that was really good. |
