TIME SPENT WITH YOU

Contributed by EROTICADARLIN on Thursday, 21st April 2005 @ 09:31:10 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

As I sat home alone.
I think of things we done.
You took me shoppin’ at Walmart,
There you got me a ring with a diamond heart.
The band has double hearts,
Which represents you and I.
You also got me my unicorn,
When I’m home in WV and missin’ you;
I’ll hold it close to me just as you do.
Then to the flea market we went,
More money on me you spent.
You got me a Native American NicNac.
I know just where I will put that.
We walked the mall hand in hand.
I’m your woman and you’re my man.
You took me to the lake,
It was beautiful in it’s frozen state.
There was a couple of idiots walkin’ across the ice.
You said they were goin’ ice fishin’.
It was there I seen my first real lighthouse.
Then you showed me where you grew up.
You told me some of your childhood memories.
That meant so much to me.
We went to the park,
To take pictures of us before it got dark.
These are some things we went out and done,
But stayin’ at home was loads of fun!
We’d make love, cuddle and kiss,
Those things I’m really gonna miss.
You told me you wanted to take care of me;
And have me as your wife.
I cried for it scared me inside.
You wiped away my tears.
Tried to ease my fears;
By letting me know you’d always be there.
You said, “Babydoll, you mean the world to me.”
I was happy as could be.
I’m havin’ to go back home.
But I know I won’t ever be there alone,
“Cause I got you Matthew.
I truly do love you!
