It felt like it took me a lifetime
Until I finally found you
After all the hurt and pain
My heart's been through
You somehow touched my heart
You showed me you cared
I never thought it possible
My heart felt impaired
You've brought joy and happiness
Back into my ailing life
Drying off my tears
Easing my heartache and strife
You shone a light for me
When everything seemed bleak
Guided my long lost heart
With the loving words you speak
Oceans may divide us
The distance seems so far
I'll hope and wish
Upon a falling star
Nothing can stop my love
For it's too strong
Like the angels belong in heaven
We too are meant to together belong...

| Here I am writing about a lost love and the pain of losing a love and you found the one you want for ever. I feel so happy for you and this poem was a awesome write. It flows so well with so much love and feeling in it. I just pray I can work things out with my wife and have are love strong again like this. Writes from the heart are more telling than writes about the heart. Sue, you have found the secret that allows others to feel your quiet moments, and your happiness. When it is from the heart, nothing more needs be said. Quite a poem . . . Congratulations!
