Thoughts O' Love

Contributed by Tiger018 on Wednesday, 20th April 2005 @ 07:58:11 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

The day has not risen to a more beautiful sight.
The last wave of breath I take,
will be in uttering your name.
The last sight I see,
will be of your beauty.
The last sound I hear,
will be me confessing my love for you.
The last touch I feel,
will be the sweetness of your lips against mine.
The last thought I hold,
will be of you.
The last place I am with you,
will be my death.
The ravishing beauty of your essence,
like that of a shimmering pool,
glistening through the white trees.
None are worthy of your presence,
to your beauty they are grains of sand,
and you being life itself in its greatness.

hey its me again dont know if you'll ever check this, but taking the chance that u do, well i dont know wut to say its been almost two months since these beautiful words actually meant something. i guess ill just never know where it all went. it seemed as though it existed and then just vanished. well thanks 4 being in my life i have learned a lot from you, and i thank you. and just know that though your feelings left you, mine never did and im sure never will, and i know anyone reading this would say it would be stupid of me to try again, but regardless of what they say im just a phone call away. talk to you later friend

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
