I�ve triggered his rage again,
He�s left me battered and broken by his loathsome words�
My flesh is stinging from the collision of his hand,
My eyes are weary from this ceaseless weeping�
I thought he had changed,
Things were going so well,
I was happy�
A gift from �The Father of Gold�,
A box full of nothing and a searing slap to the face�
Whiskey on his breath, slur in his words, fury in his eyes,
A monster, blinded by rage and intoxication,
Birthday wishes from my nightmare, Daddy dearest�
�You are nothing! I wish your mother had an abortion instead of bearing a creature like you!�
In a fit of tears and sorrow,
I drink all of it in without a word,
Nodding my head all the while,
Knowing it�s true�
The faces change,
Now you care about me again,
Hugging me and kissing every tear away,
Comforting me with embraces and gentle soothing,
Just like a Daddy should�
But you are not what you act out to be,
I don�t consider you a father or anything closely related,
For you are nothing to me�
How I wish to tell you this,
Shout it to your stupid grinning face,
Give you a taste of the poison you gave me�
Yet, my voice abandons me,
I am left silent, with reveries of killing you�
You leave with a stale �I love you��
And my birthday gift of anguish and self-hate�
My little flicker of hope has died,
Depression consumes me whole,
And the Dark Era begins once more�

| Painfull indeed... this when strait to the heart....tears fell.. i felt the pain in this poem. a very deep and heart breaking write |

Damn Stephy. Nobody deserves that. This hurt to read. I ... don't even know what say. You are not ... Nothing. I hope your belief in his words are only belief in the fact that this ... thing ( I can't even call him a man ) is so consumed with what ever has eaten away at him, that it somehow makes him believe what he refuses to see. You are a creature of beauty and intelligence and so much more than he could ever hope to be.
