The Rain that fell

I can feel the Rain,
it's drowning my soul filling
the emptiness surrounding
my shallow heart.
When will it stop...
all the love is now gone,
floating away in the river
that was my heart.
In these years the Rain keeps falling,
filling the hole that love left behind.
the Rain has consumed my soul.
Its draining the energy from my hollow chest.
The feeling now is no longer a feeling,
but a distant memory of
that Rainy season that washed
away my dreams of love.
