Sheen was 15, a.k.a Geeky Chick
She lived her life alone with books and mouthful spits.
24/7 infront of the computer screen
Surrounded by her own kingdom, a genius indeed.
At school, with pretty girls she couldnt help but stare
Their skirts were way too tight, selfishly caught all boys' glare.
Halter tops, jelly sandals, giggles and make up affairs
Spangles and mini's circled faintly in her head.
So she flew up the library to forget the thoughts she had
And for a while she rests her head with a book to avoid the senseless fad.
But the silence broke in the library, the reading she could not start
So she walked staright toward the cause, preparing herself to shout.
The captain of the basketball team was in
Flirting with girls around the room together with his team.
The noise were getting loud, the captain surely was a celebrity
But Sheen couldnt stand the noise filling the holes of her ears.
"This is l-i-b-r-a-r-y, not the c-o-u-r-t
It's on the other side so will u plz shut up a bit?
And for your info, a ball is round not square like books up here
And for the fans, im so sorry but i guess the guys are gonna leave."
The guts of this girl left the captain's mouth half-opened
"Wow. This girl is nerveless" thought the cap, "Well, this wasnt often."
The team looked at each other with embarassment and thought "This could not happen."
But of course, their glow made the people follow and every girls' heart fallin'.
When the cap did catch her up again, Sheen was on her toes reaching something
She was looking for an encylopedia in the next aisle where the boy stood watching.
"Need a ladder? Or how about some platforms?" he asked, giving her a taste of her own sarcasm
"How about giving me a hand?" Chaching! they both started snort-laughing.
For the rest of the week, the boy felt the same gut-socking feeling before a big game
Then found himself taking different routes to see if he'd bump into her again.
The joke was still going, she'd die laughing, pen and proctractor flying everywhere
They glued pictures of one another to their locker, both expecting a funny shot of compliment.
Then Sheen asked him out and blackmailed him into a date
A ransom note on the boy's locker said that she took his lucky jacstrap for him to dare.
So he'd better meet her at a nearby coffee shop for the sake of the game to be fair
What guy wouldnt love a girl with that sense of humor? What a lovely night to share!
Sheen was a lot of firsts to the boy who claimed to be her "friend"
She was the first girl who had the guts to ask him out and make friends.
She was the first girl he didnt judge by her bra size or reputation as well.
She was the first girl he dated who didnt obsess about the style of her hair or what to wear.
It didnt take long for everyone to start wondering why
He was flaking on practices or missing gimmicks and dance parties at Kyle's.
He had been making up the lamest excuses to cover for hanging out with Sheen, making lies
And he was feeling pretty skanky about it when he was confronted by the guys.
"Who?" "Not the girl in overalls and hightops?" "What?!" They asked so surprised
He sat there enduring all the teasing and slumming till those boys' lungs get tired.
Things realy ***** him off and eventually made things worst, the turning point arrived
He got the cold shoulder from his friends so his mind started to doubt while his heart telling him to fight.
"Sheen wasnt one of the prettiest girls in school.
Was i actually planning to take her to my senior prom? She'd look hideous."
Once he finished picking her apart, he was conviced that Sheen doesnt have the looks
He started to judge her, blaming her to the parties and gimmicks he lately refused.
He tried to be subtle at first by taking different routes to avoid her
He'd promise to call her but never did until he didnt remember.
Sheen finally cornered him in the hall one day and demanded an explanation
So he swore he'd met her after school but never did again, seemed like forever.
The next day, in front of the entire school, Sheen let him have it
She yelled at him, called him a coward, a jerk, an idiot..so romantic.
Worst of all, Sheen tossed his friends a box of notes he'd written so he got teased
He stood speechless as they read each one aloud and laughed, trying to be more silly.
The funny thing was that Sheen had another "first time" with the boy's life
He didnt really care about what the guys were saying because he knew inside that she was right.
When he looked at his friends howling and high-fiving each other, he think twiced that night
He finally realized that he was going to be the first guy to in their group to grow up high.
He pleaded, he begged and stuff notes in her locker again
He followed her around school practically being a stalker again
He tried to bumped her and make friends with her again
He made himself looked dumb and fell in love again.
He made lotsa "again" but Sheen was "again"-st his every moves
She tried to be calm at times but couldnt help being a bit rude.
The ending wasnt happy for them but he finally learned what things he must do
For fairy tales is impossible for lovers like these two.
John still feel a little sad when he think about her and what could have been
But he was also grateful that he learned what he did, when he did.
He learned that he could be whatever he wanted to be regardless of what his friends say or think
So Sheen, John just wanted to say thanks, if you're reading this.
