Stained-glass archways above the door,
colored shadows paint the floor.
Christ is there for us to adore,
Open arms forever more.
Steeples gold, towers of schemes,
Religion forgot the power of dreams.
Ancient songs of the creation,
Meanings lost in the translation.
Ceremony taught and handed down,
Fine red robes and ornate crown.
Jesus wanted to save our souls,
Men have somewhat different goals.

Very nice, very descriptive.
To think he started out in a humble manger.
Merry Christmas
