I just wanted to say;
I don't know what,
You've got to forgive me if this comes out wrong,
I'm quite nervous inside,
As I quietly sigh,
And think for a moment,
To gather my thoughts.
A letter lies by his side,
Addressed to the girl he'll never find,
A bottle of gin has taken it's place,
Hiding the pain with a skin coloured mask,
No use, It's no good
I'm not making sense.
I've forgotten the plan gone backwards a step,
Hitting a wall, he stumbles and falls,
The ground seems heavy against the sky,
I know she's been there,
Cause everything's changed,
But strangly, somehow it all looks the same.
If I wrote this for you,
What would you do?
If I thought you'd care I'd send it to you,
I need to get this through,
The pain and the hurt,
Did it feel good to you?
To see me down,
Did you enjoy kicking at me?
Scraping at my bare bones and then rubbing salt into these over-exposed wounds?
Did you enjoy the feeling of power it gave you?
A god-like figure, control.
Enjoy it, cause this one's for you.
