Escape the Matrix

Contributed by Nazmythian on Tuesday, 19th April 2005 @ 03:59:32 PM in AEST
Topic: MiscPoems

Document the mind
Map psyche
Travel
Skipping upon
electrically stimulated synapses

Positively administer to
negative polarity
Hum
along as
closed circuitry shorts

Experience the burn
Smell decay
Taste
Begin again
Renew your existence

Sever the connection
Disengage from
artifice
Intelligence is -

Supposed to be real

Hey there Naz, I liked the poem....the last line is great!
You must have been looking for my intelligence because it took a long break today! The imagery was great...I could smell the decay....good job!
Carol

Always interesting to see
what you think.

"Reality" is sort of a Matrix tho.
There is no escape.

Sometimes taking that smoke break clears the mind and the most amazing thoughts come to pass...like this one.
You always amaze

Hi Naz,

This poem is another tribute to your inventive creativity, with deeper meaning and intelligence. Great metaphor. I read it about three times. I guess it is about intelligence and thought process. I probably didn't grasp it all.

Superior work
Will, Terry
