The Quiet Bus Stop

Topic: LovePoetry

And we hold hands until the rain pours down...
i wait in this white room
as the spider made its 2nd route to home.
it stops as if there are traffic lights,
and i try to figure out
love from lust.
i stir the water with my finger,
and touch my lips on your back.
the door opens.
we look up,
closed it back.
the spider moves fast in the darkness
and sudden in euphoria.
i tiptoed to your side
and laid my head on your heart.
everyday is Valentine's day.
i repainted the house,
again in white.
my back longs the ground
and we laid,
looked up to the sky.
shadows start running down the road
as we hide to some corner
and dream.
let go of the kite.
your eyes are glassy
as you cough out confessions.
your pupils constrict...
how can i resist?
i point to the Big Dipper
and you ran your hand on my neck.
i felt the whole world tilted
and water starts to boil.
decency drains the color from your face.
beautiful in pallor,
your hands bleeding.
i swear i've tasted you before.
the wind is blowing,
yawning...
romance comes back,
the ballerina twirls one last time.
the raindrops wanted to be saved,
they drowned the spider.
we look at each other.
this is the most beautiful day ever.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
