Blinded by life,,,,,

Topic: Lifepoems

Blinded by life,never to see,,,
he'll wonder through life not knowing,,
what it is to see,,anything,,,
colors, beauty, even rainbows,,

he may stumble or fall,,
but manages to get back up,,
and still triesagain,,
he's made fun of,,
for he can't whats not there,,,

( he uses a stick to guide his way,,)

people will never understand,
the loss of one's sight,
till it's to late,,
for he see things in his own way,,
he might fall in loves big triangle,
not able to see the beauty in her eye's,,
but he will be able to see
the love she has to offer,,
for he'll feel the gift of love,,

even if he stumbles and falls,
he'll walk the earth,
with a stick in his hand,
and a smile on his face,,,

( for he see beauty in is own way )

I myself would rather be blind and only see the beauty within one's soul in my own way rather than to know that so many people judge other's by the way they look.....yes i would miss out on knowing what rainbows look like and yes i would miss out on life's beautiful things it has to offer but i think it would make me a much more spiritual person than i am already....some may say that by me saying that ......that i dont appreciate having my eye sight but i do....i just think that blind people sometimes might just see more beauty in things than people who can see......thanks for sharing this one craig it hit me pretty hard ....and i dont even know why.....

This is so true; Beautiful poem, yes, I see it... when I was in my early 20's there were a group of us that were all friends with a blind fellow named Joey, I will never forget one time it was my turn to drive him round and we went to a movie he wanted to 'see' this is what I'm getting at; Joey 'saw' through my eyes.. he listened to the movie and would say things like,"Is she wearing blue like the sky or like the ocean?" The funniest thing that ever happened was once we all went to a romantic movie.. Joey knew before any of us that the fellow was going to kiss the girl as it was a surprizing twist, I have learned through my blind and deaf friends that we all must see with our hearts and soul, ty for this very beautiful and special poem, well done my friend,
huggs always Nessa
p.s. Eventually we got Joey a seeing eye dog and he didn't need us as much lol
