Blood Flower & Dark Hunter: The Beginning

Contributed by FleurdeSang on Tuesday, 19th April 2005 @ 12:32:05 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Eternal slumber,
Bittersweet ightmare,
Yearning lips,
Ravenous hunger...

DIE FROM MY KISS...

Tears of crimson agony splatter on my tomb,
A gentle pitter-patter, a soft melody to my ears,
I cant taste it now, oh what tainted pleasure...
Slowly, like stone grinding on stone,
These ancient eyes open and greet my sanctuary...
Precious Darkness, immortal Night,
Your child awakens...

How long have I slept?
Who is so bold as to sacrifice their scarlet essence,
Their life... to a beast of blood?

A sweet scent fills the stale air,
One that I am quite familiar of...
Ah, fear, delicious trepidation,
Naive soul, you believe I cannot sense you,
Smell you, your intoxicating apprehension,
As you feel my cold hands of death caress your cheek,
My parted lips tenderly brushing your supple neck...

Adorned in endless gowns of shadows,
You strain your mortal eyes to see,
The obscure beauty that is I...

You know not what you are dealing with,
I am the huntress,
And you, my fallen prey...
Unbearable, this overwhleming need,
This scarlet desire...
On you I must feed...

The moon, my gorgeous muse,
Bearer of infinite embers,
Unveils my shroud of darkness,
And I am left within her sea of pallid splendor...

Ceaseless enchantment,
You're under my spell...
You slowly tilt your head to acommodate my kiss,
Succmb to me, your dark fantasy,
Give into my touch of Immortality...

And late into the night,
The silent winds will ring with your cries,

Belle Morte,

My ancient name,
Long forgotten, a faded memory,
T'was only centuries ago, when I ruled all...

As I tear you open, oh so lovingly,
My fangs deep and relentless,
With your last shuddering breath,
Two words you whisper: "Blood Flower..."
A sigh of closure,
Your heart beats no longer,
Just an echoing song of emptiness...

Fallen angel of my dreams,
Come to me now, relish my embrace,
Savor my bloody kisses,
Bear my mark,
You are mine forevermore...

Darling hunter,
Your mission long ago was to slay me,
A soul-less fiend, a creature of darkness...
Yet, here you lay within my arms,
Reborn, a child of the night,
In this decaying chamber of malevolent grandeur,

Where it all began...

~It isn't over yet... expect more tales to come.~

Damn, damn, and damn again. This just
chilled me to the deepest recesses of my
soul. You are an inspiration that dark poetry
can be new and exciting every time. Steph I
just don't know what to say about this it was
just so damn good. The imagery really stood
out through the whole poem though.
