He was in a rut.
When his wrists were cut.
What is lost.
What has cost.
Rope Mope.
Chain and pain.
Dark, hark, shark, lark.
Borderlands.
Things that look different but are the same.
What is sane?
When it rains.
Does the sky shed tears.
Does the lightning strike like silver blades.
Are farwells bade.
In the shade.
Is it really possible for anyone to betray.
Do you know the truth.
Is it truth that sooths.
Or is it pretty lies.
That keep us alive.
Do we fear to die?
Wonder who will cry?
Wonder if we look from heaven.
Can our made up bodies be identified.
Do we feel our grave?
Can we be saved?
Or is fate just fate.
And graves just graves?
would we come to a different place.
If we went about this buisness in different ways.
Are we marked from birth.
Or is everything weighed.
The moment our bodies pass away.
These sonnets scarce.
Comes in forms of beating hearts.
Comes with words that bite like blades.
All that matters is what you have to say...
Who said people had to be the same...
Who said poetry had to rhyme anyway.
