Tarnished Heart...

Contributed by mina-1 on Monday, 18th April 2005 @ 12:54:12 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Look at my eyes as they expel their tears
An abudance of pain that make it so real
Look beyond the core and you'll see
How tarnished this heart can really be
I feel I cannot go on
My body is too weak
As the anguish in my heart
Slowly begins to leak
My soul is burdened by
Years of your abuse
Battered and bruised
My heart broken and confused
You got a damn kick
Out of always putting me down
On top of the physical abuse
My loving emotions you drowned
Love no longer lives
Or harbours in my heart
Misery has berthed
Taken over love's part
Tarnished and unloved
This heart shall remain
Until someone loving
Comes my way again...

DON'T LOOK DOWN WHEN YOU CAN LOOK UP,& HEAR THE SWEET HEARTBEATS THAT SOUND LIKE LOVE,PASSION IS ALL THAT POUNDS & MEANS SO MUCH,NOT TO HURT YOU ROUND AFTER ROUND EVERY TIME SO TUFF,WHAT YOU HAVE FOUND IS THE BEGINNING OF A TOUCH,ONE THAT FLIES WITH NO BOUNDS LIKE THAT OF A DOVE,& WILL PRESENT YOU WITH A CROWN & A ROMANCE THAT WILL FEEL LIKE THE HEAVEN ABOVE! SAD POEM BUT A GREAT LADY & BOTH WORTH A 5 STAR FROM MY HEART!!

Lots Of Love,
DAN!!!

Like “birds of a feather”, love attracts love. A loving heart, and personality, will not go un-noticed, nor unrewarded. Before the creation of the world, there was love. After this world, as we know it, ends . . . there will be nothing but love. Hold on, love is on the way. It skips no-one who waits, and wants. Deserving hearts are always blessed abundantly with that which is the creator of life . . . LOVE! Congratulations on a striking piece of poetry.

Sadness and beauty all in one, love always

finds a way, and you are the way . . .

I know what emotional abuse is but not the phycical part, thank god.
