Why Do I Cry?

I sit here and cry

Through the smudged tears in my eyes

I can’t see straight

For this pain to be over…I can’t wait

Each tear rolls down my cheek.

This is making me so weak

I cover my eyes to hide the tears

I can’t hide all of my fears

People knocking on the door

Tears splashing on the floor

Like a stream full of hate

I’m sure after this, everything will be great

Depressed like you wouldn’t believe

Wiping my eyes on my sleeve

Taking life by each heart beet

Chills fall over me like a thin sheet

There’s no one to depend on

Crying now from dusk until dawn

No one to look up to

I just wish I could be with you

I don’t know what to do

I just woke up this morning, feeling blue

I don’t hear a word

A faint voice was all I heard

Even through all of this

Even if it’s you I miss

I keep my head up high

I know in my heart that you will always be mine
