Willow Weep for Me

Contributed by Dream_protector_bp on Sunday, 17th April 2005 @ 02:12:14 PM in AEST
Topic: goodbyepoetry

Willow weep for me
Stir upon your sorrow
For I shall not survive this night
There is no hope for the 'morrow.

Willow bleed for me
Let blood and tears freely drip
For there is no hope for me
Into the night I slowly slip

Willow sing for me
By the light of the unholy moon
Allow me to escape
Sing for me, a sweet- sorrowful tune.

Willow call to me
Through the fog and darkened mist
Relive for me, my history
Here, where we first kissed

Willow, save me
For I shall not survive for long
Willow, weep for us,
Sing for me, one final song.

Willow, we can not stay any longer
As we cling to the day
The shadows pull us stronger
There is so much left to say...

Goodbye willow
Dusk takes our passion away
Never again shall we see the stars
Never again to live by lights of day

Willow, our goodbye is ended now
We belong to other ends
But it was heaven to meet you.

…Heaven...

To be friends.

Well after reading this one thing is readily
apparent that you need to post more! I really
liked this poem the imagery and alliteration
were two things that got my attention. This
was a very beautiful poem, but also very sad
of course those are my favourite kind.
