I Have Not

Contributed by pUnKa_RaCh on Sunday, 17th April 2005 @ 06:04:55 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

i have not known a moment
when the sight of you did not
splinter my heart against my rib cage
i have not known a night
when you’re beautiful visage did not
keep me from peaceful sleep
there has not been a morning
when you did not stain my memory
behind my waking eyelids
i have not known a minute
when the memory of your piercing kiss
did not overwhelm me with sadness
i have not lived a happy day since you have gone
and I have not envisioned a second
when I do not miss you awfully

Another well written account of your pain over a matter of the heart. Though painful, these matters always find a way to solve themselves in a way that compliments the one now grieving. The heart renews itself. It survives on love, and will love, and be loved again. Have no fear, in affairs of the heart; the new day is just a touch, (or a word) away. Another gem.
