Do you know the real me?
You may think you do, but believe me, you don't.
People are so judgmental and judge by what they see,
If you ask them to listen, they won't.
Why are looks such a big deal?
Why can't we just look deeper inside?
Why can't we show how we feel?
Why are we always trying to hide?
Why is there always a right or a wrong?
Why are we afraid to fight?
Why can't we sing our own song?
Why can't we stand up for what is right?
Why do we care so much about what others think?
When the only opion that matters is our own.
Why do we feel like there's a missing link?
The answers seem unknown.
Maybe we'll find them someday,
Or maybe the answers are just too hard to see.
But no matter what we'll still look back and say,
Do you know the real me?

A great write filled with wisdom and questions that is very thoght provoking.
Unfortunatly there are many out there that are so wrapped up in themselves that they don't know the real person. keep writing.
