Frosted Pain

Contributed by blue_angel on Saturday, 16th April 2005 @ 09:38:06 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Forever frozen in this doubt
Frosted over with this pain
No matter how I try to forget
The scars will still remain
I can’t seem to grasp my thoughts
My feelings are spread across the floor
But even though I regret it
I still yearn for more and more
Will no one stop me now?
Or will it progress till I fade
They say it will get better
But I cannot afford to wait
I’ve heard that I have talent
From quite a reliable source
But nothing anyone tells me
Will ever end my remorse
Like a puzzle I am broken
Can I piece myself together?
Yet with all the missing pieces
I will be shattered forever
Can’t anyone fill the gaping holes
In which I have forever been scarred
In deep red letters my fate can be read
In my skin it has been carved
I am alone now, everyone’s gone
I look behind me and no one is there
Regretfully it is too late
There’s no one left to care

as long as you care, that is all you need to care for you. i know life is hard, and i know that these thoughts control your life, but you have to control your throughts to control your life. i told you before, that you had talent, and this poem only reinforced what i already knew. you remind me of poe. everyone he loved died, and he was never recognized for his greatness, but he lived on. i dont know what he lived for, but he lived. i hope that you live on, even with no reason or with a reason to write.

Amazing write. And Don't forget that there ARE people out there that care. Even if you are having trouble finding them. I know what its like to consider suicide, and I finally realized its not worth it. Really... its just giving up. Prove the ones who hurt you wrong and live on. Life WILL GET BETTER. Even if you dont want to hear that right now. IT WILL GET BETTER. Don't do anything rash that you will regret. And I am here if you EVER want to talk. Amazing poem

Sometimes I feel a cold numb when life seems not worth living, but... I am still here. I know what it's life to have those that should care not care. No one on this site (I think) can make your problems go away. But we pledge our love and support, nonetheless, in a fervent hope that you will stick around. Your poetry still remains incredible, and the vividness of it is so strong. But there are some who care, my friend, and we support you as best we can.
