I came to your house,
A dotted line.
My arms, my legs;
All dotted lines.
While you and your heart,
Sat and waited for mine,
On my way,
I was nothing but dotted lines.
When I got there however,
Your candles were lit.
Like a heart, attacked by your love,
I was hit.
All those pictures,
All over your shelf, Where they sit.
You were a love bug.
And I had been bit.
You turned on the music,
We danced to the song.
It was mine it was yours,
It lasted so long.
A pencil was held in your eyes,
Am I wrong?
After that dance,
My dotted lines were drawn.
We kissed as we danced.
As did fly our feet.
Embraced in each other’s
Rapid heart beat.
Lost in the moment.
Evading defeat.
Today’s twenty-one,
Was our souls’ chance to meet.
