Learning To Be Alone

Contributed by DesolantDreamer on Saturday, 16th April 2005 @ 05:07:30 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

I haven't be okay
Since the day you left me
Things just aren't the same
Life's beem tough
And my heart's been aching
But it is getting better
I'm learning to be alone

The dark isn't as scary
The pain isn't as crippeling
My heart is still beating
And I don't cry everytime I hear your name
All in all
I'm learning to be alone

My soul is back inside me
My life is back on track
And it hurts a lot less
Than when you left
So I guess
I'm learning to be alone

But yet as I write this
Tears soak my paper
And my heart feels like it was stepped on
I hurt in a horrid way
I still haven't
Learned to be alone

That's a great poem. I can feel the emotion, i've been heartbroken... Eventually you'll move on, just try to forget about the person, ok? It'll be ok. Jenny
