Verboten love and sinful pleasure-
curse of the lustful soul

Ardent desire for that not obtained-
the embodiment of envious deeds

An idle standpoint to this troublesome world-
fate of the torpid mind

Intemperance for both a need and want-
a ravenous beast of sin

The world seen through vanities eyes-
caused by the arrogant mind

A passion of rage unleashed frequently-
terror behind an irate savage

The epitomes of sin banned to this world-
A soul cast down from heaven to hell

I can't put an exact finger on this, but i really like this. Don't know why, but this is good. Very good.

Parents also please ensure that you supervise your children well when they are on the internet; regardless of what a site says about being, or being considered, child-safe.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
