i'll become one of you,
i'll lie and pretend,
i'll cheat and defiy,
i'll swear not cry.
perhaps, maybe,
i'll get along fine,
i'll be alright,
i'll succeed in this,
i'll end with bliss.
perhaps, maybe,
i'll just be myself,
i'll choose to act kind,
i'll amaze with warm,
i'll get down on earth.
perhaps, maybe,
not definately;
im not any of you,
im myself,
im eager to change,
a crinkled page,
unwrap me to see,
nothing special,
empty inside.

Good poem. I don't believe your "nothing special" or "empty inside" though. You wouldn't write poetry if you were either.
