Understanding Death

Tears falling to the ground
Dead bodies all around.
You sit and wonder why
Why this happened to your guy.
You ask the god above
Why he couldn't be saved by love.
You wait for his response
While your heart feels light like an ounce.
The people that die every day
Comforting loved ones saying it's okay.
It's ike a plaque that sweeps by
Bringing millions of tears to your eyes.
Death is not meant to be understood
But you'd still try if you could.
Love defeats death in your heart
But still, death might play your next part.
