Wild, wild world
Begging to be set afire
With autumn's turning leaves

Rotation on regularity
Constant burping births
Birthing drain sucking ends

Setting stages, plotting falls
Silver trays of opportunity
Offering you an open palette

Picking poisons
And painting dreams
Arming yourself with yourself

Gargoyles on your back
Heavy and leering
Claws digging for gold

Angels on shoulders
Perched like white vultures
Strict watchful eyes

Living targets for lessons
Always laugh and dance
Drink deep 'til you sleep
