You are an angel left on earth, of this I have no doubts,
You've become this precious symbol, an example that without,
So many paths would turn astray, with no one there to lead them,
No Esther light to guide their way, no Esther love to feed them.
With uncommon courage and lift you bring, To every situation,
Whether to understand their heartache, or to join in their elation.
You are tireless in your support, no borders or restrictions,
It's amazing how your heart and head, are there to give direction.
You are the beacon blazing light, we use to find our way,
When the fog of indecision looms, when "all the colors taste like gray".
A lighthouse on the shores of life, you stand so strong and clear,
To guide us through our rocky times, to help us persevere.
So in case you did not know it, or if by chance you weren't aware,
I have a special place inside, where I keep your smile fair,
It brightens everything down deep, and helps me to believe this true,
In the beauty of the human spirit, that is personified in you.
