Predjudice

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

How can you JUDGE?
You don't EVEN KNOW ME!
Your so stuck up ignoring the facts
That are so easy to see

You hold against me a crime
That does not exist
To be different is not a CRIME
But still you persist

You persist to tell me I'm wrong
That I'm so awful
When in actual fact
What you are saying should be unlawful

Discrimination is a terrible thing
Race, sex the stupid thought
But discrimination against being different
To attention it must be brought

Sure we have ABC*
But this has gone too far
I cannot be the only person
To have made a fau pai

So stop taking it out on me
It might be fun when I cry
But what happens when eventually

I...Die...

It's a worthy subject to have written about
and I thjink you expressed your own
real feelings and experience well.

It seems so very sad to me that the only way some people can boost their self-image is to bully others. We were all created the same way, and our race, color or creed should having nothing to do with our ability as a human. This is a powerful write, albeit sad. But the saddest will be the bully in the end when they finally realize what they are and why they are alone. Excellent write. Morning Dove
