Sunny Side Up

I'll say I hope you never tire
But if you ever do
Or if I take up too much time
I hope you'll tell me.
If you have a dark night
And need an ear
You know where to find me.
For I have a dark side too
Though it mostly hides
In the corner
And comes out
When I least expect it
Raining on those close
Who stand bewildered at times
With faces that say
"Where did ^that^ come from?"
The only place you'll ever see
That dark side
Is through my writing
Now that I have learned to
Let it out.
Mostly I just
Turn my bright side
To the world
And to be sunny for the lost
Is what I'm here for.
