Restless nights,
Thoughts of comforting death,
Demons feeding off of your sanity,
Victim of Insomnia…
Dreams of the monster… screams for the monster…
Laugh, dying soul,
For life is an illusion,
And sorrow is happiness…
When existence begins to take its toll,
Slit your wrists and smile,
For everything will be alright…
Nobody cares,
So leave it all inside…
Wear your mask of deception,
In the dark, forever you’ll hide…
The shadows are your friends,
The Voices want nothing but your blood,
Give them what they yearn for,
Succumb to the hymn of blissful treason…
Break away from the seams of life,
Crawl towards your last resort,
A bittersweet mirage of hope,
Death disguised as trust…
Eyes wide shut,
Deafening words of silence,
Invisible tears…
You are nothing… a nobody,
Just a waste of flesh…
The mirror nods in agreement,
With tears in her amber eyes,
What more is she,
Than just a mere illusion?
What more can she be,
Other than pathetic, wretched,
Me?

Oh ***** yes that was just awesome! Wow
again you have seared the imagery in this
poem. I am at a loss as to how someone
could read your poetry and then NOT leave a
comment or then again maybe they had to
be rushed to hospital after their jaw shattered
upon the floor... luckily for me the computer
room is carpeted :D. Anyway yeah this was
just bloody awesome.
