Hush! Behold an Unspoken.
Cotton clouds that float away from lovers’ eyes.
See it, drifting there,
lingering as the daytime moon?
It, too, waits,
shivering in the cold newness of the common air.
perspiring in the mild anxiety of young passion.
Watch it drift into the light,
exploited by the sun.
it has dried up.
