A friendship true
Loyal and precious.
I hold you dear to my heart
If ever the time is near
I know you’ll be here,
Ready to talk, listen, and give.
Always so understanding and so protecting.
Always ready to wipe away me tears.
When things got rough
You were there
Side by side
Every step of the way
Always holding on,
In it until the end.
Now that’s what I call,
A true best friend.

| *Sigh*, i miss that feeling! its sad when friends walk out of your life, but then, i guess its important to remember the good times, and how they made you feel in the past.. sounds like you got yourself a good friend here. hold on to them!!! |

| It is a awesome feeling to have a true best friend like you write about. It made me think of mine back home and how much I can’t wait to hangout again. Good work on another poem wish I could write about all different subjects like you. My mind is stuck in a rut of sorrow and hopeful soon I can pull it out and move to something new.
