Beauty Cometh

Beauty Cometh
~~~~~
Which beauty cometh to where I stand
As nervous sweat builds on my hand
Her radiances blackens the light
As gracefully she walks into sight
Blond hair blowing in the wind
Enticing my mind once again
Soft blue eyes pierce my soul
She’s an attempting beauty to behold
Yet I ask myself, what does she bring?
With the sweet melody that she sings
Is the pleasure everlasting?
Or is it instantaneous as its passing
For the beauty that cometh wears a mask
As it comes with it’s evil task
To deceive you and wipe you clean
Of the possibility of future dreams
Temptation is her name
And she loves to play the game
Destroying all that’s in her path
Leaving only a haunting laugh
So please be weary as she comes
Turn around and simply run
For her powers are very strong
And her list of victims is very long
