Painted Lady

Topic: AngryPoetry

a painted lady, a painted smile
living a dream, always in denial
you grab your brush, covered in lies
you move it towards me, no surprise
you would make me as you are
you would take away what i am
make us all the same and then the end

i'm not that easily hidden
your paint would run away
this is what i choice to be
you can't make what you want of me
i'm not like you, i won't hide away
under this facade, of dripping paint
your vanity is your lifes shame

Incredibly fierce, such power behind words so divine. Exquisite till the very end... No one should judge you or try to change you because they don't like how you dress or act or speak... I have this problem as well, my friend, you are not alone. They have yet to see the beauty that lies within... and the poets that we are... Beautiful, defiant, and dripping with talent. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful work of art with us. I have a poem that is similar, "You don't know me." Check it out some time, =). Flawless till the last word. All my love. Forever,

Your friend and fan,

Stephy. *Fleur*

Oh it's very good!

I feel the same way: why change when you are happy being different? Origionality is the key!

Keep staying origional.

My favourite line is "your vanity of lifes shame". I really love the image it creates, and it's just so expressive, if that makes sense.

Hope you don't mind me saying, but you didn't capitalize some of the things you should have. ^__^
