From the Plains of England,
to the skies of Tokyo,
Like a bandit in the night,
I will snatch your soul,
I will tuck it under my arm
and cross enemy lines.
Watching you; all of you.
You are ripe for the picking,
and I intend to be the farmer.
I will reap my harvest that is your life.
I have claimed your brothers,
like the lord claimed his lost sheep.
Sitting in the cold, you pray.
You pray to the Angel grace,
pray to salvage your soul.
I am here; I am all around you.
Like a panther. Waiting to make a kill.
It is your time, you cannot run.I surround
you. I see you; I feel you. I want you.
I am war, I get what I want.

Good thoughts about the avarice of war. Both my mom and dad were in the war (my mom being bombed in england and my dad fighting in the pacific). Sometimes movies and stuff glamorize war but is scary, horrible stuff, like your panther on the prowl. very good. |

An amazing write.
It's realistic especially in our day and age.
It's sad but then war is very sad.
I commend u for writing this.
