She Said Get Over It

Contributed by alexb on Thursday, 14th April 2005 @ 10:45:35 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

When I am long gone
When I have left this place
How will you remember me
Or will you even care
Will you remember me
Will you even think of me
Or is it too far gone
Have I shot myself in the foot again

Well it's too late to wipe this memory clean
You have already made your mark on me
That angle from the classroom table
A shot of beauty in all it's glory
Your hair was held up with a pink ribbon
And your legs were crossed with a sense of impatience
You shot me a glance with those emerald eyes
As you played with your hair and let out a sigh
Oh God.......
Just tell me why!
Why did you have to bring this upon me
Why
Were our hearts rolling with the drumbeat
Why
Did you even let her cross my path
Why
Did you have to make both of our eyes meet

You knew it
So why did you do it
I'm in so deep now
I will never.......
Never fight my way out

You knew it
When I blew it
I would be lost.......
Lost forever

I will never get over you
Because you are too high above me
But still you say get over it
Get over it
Just let it go
Just get over it
