Happiness or Loneliness

Contributed by dvsnme816 on Thursday, 14th April 2005 @ 10:17:10 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Ive known you for years and wanna be more than just friends,
because everytime talk-you always leave me breathless,
When I saw you-there was a spark that lit an eternal flame,
you dont know how much I love you-unable to numerically estimate,
but I am nothing more than a friend-while I dream about you every moment,
but you are scared to be happy and hide it-even if it leaves you heartbroken,
I look in your eyes and inside you I know what is impossible to see,
Im begging for a sign-because the unforgiving pain is hounding me,
I never thought I would find the person with whom I would spend my life,
and beautiful with soft skin that made me wonder what is in those bright eyes,
you were the only girl I have confessed my feelings to and wanted a life with,
help me figure out the way through the cave of confusion and the crisis,
Ive tried to hear you out-now it's your turn to listen to the truth of this poem,
I love you and I need to tell you this because Im still far across the ocean...

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
